Student Savings on Microsoft Office
Being a student it can be hard enough finding the money to pay the bills.. let alone for computer equipment to help with your studies. So what are the alternatives to spending long hours and late nights at university libraries using their Microsoft Office programs for your assignments.
This student enquired through his Information Technology Service at university (Australia). He was able to pick up the new trial version of Microsoft Office for free. This allows you to then buy the full version for $75 instead of the $244 academic version – a HUGE saving!
Just imagine! From then on, he was also able to save so much time by studying at home AND an extra $30 a week on transport ($15 petrol per week and $15 parking per week as there is no public transport where I live) by not having to travel so often to University to complete his work!
So… If you’re a student I’d be asking your Information Technology Service at your university if this can also apply to you……Helping you make better use of your time and savings!

Understanding Money Free Booklet
How To Make Money Work For You
Over the last few months I’ve seen an ad on tv about the Understanding Money Booklet but has yet to pick one up.
Luckily… while in the library the other day I picked up a free copy.
In the Introduction Paul Clitheroe states he is often asked “What is the secret to being good with money?”… Paul says Understanding money means understanding how much money you have and where it goes. It means being in a position to make the most of what you’ve got. And it means protecting what’s yours.
No matter who you are or what you earn, it’s easier than you think to take control of your money. Start taking action today!
To get your free copy of Understanding Money… You should be able to pick up a copy at your local library like I did or visit http://www.australia.gov.au/understandingmoney
Copies of the handbook are also available in Arabic, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Korean, Spanish and Vietnamese. These can be downloaded to your computer or order the free book to be mailed to you.
Remember, it’s your money, and learning how to make the most of it can really pay off. Put Yourself In Charge.
